The Liberty International Film Festival - Georgia began as a small event in 2022 with the showing of one film at Bryan County High School.  This event created an outcry for more.  In 2023, the filmmakers produced FIVE student films with a festival premiere at the IMAX Theatre in Pooler, Georgia.  Since then, we have out-grown our venue, changed the name of the festival, and moved to a larger space.  We are now able to offer an international film festival at The Performing Arts Center in Hinesville, Georgia. 

 

We have categories for drama/comedy and documentary.  We have categories for first-time filmmakers, adults, as well as high school and middle school filmmakers.  Not only does this festival give exposure to filmmakers worldwide, but it also serves as a teaching platform for the training of future directors, producers, and filmmakers.
